About the Fancy Text Generator
Most social apps do not let you format text in bios, captions or display names. Unicode includes mathematical letter sets that look bold or monospaced, so pasting them gives a styled look anywhere plain text is accepted.
Only the letters A–Z and a–z are converted. Numbers, punctuation and accented letters stay as they are. Screen readers may read these characters awkwardly or spell them out, and some search features will not match them as normal words, so avoid using them for important information.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does fancy text work?
Each letter is replaced with a matching character from Unicode’s mathematical alphanumeric symbols, which look bold or monospaced but are still plain text.
Will it work on Instagram, TikTok and X?
These characters can usually be pasted anywhere that accepts Unicode text, including most social bios and posts. A few older devices may show empty boxes.
Why are my numbers and accented letters not styled?
Only basic Latin letters (A–Z and a–z) are converted. Other characters are kept unchanged.
Is fancy text accessible?
Not fully. Screen readers may read the characters letter by letter or skip them, so use plain text for important information.
